Outdoor Activities: 7 Days in the North of Albania and Kosovo

We will start the tour from Tirana toward Bulqiza city . This city is known for its its chrome mine and natural beauties. We will visit the Dhoksi Lakes, which are located at an altitude of about 1600 m above sea level. The path we will followpasses between pine and beech forests. We return to visit the town of Bulqiza and the Skanderbeg Stones and then we are accommodated
in the Hupi guest house-A200-year-old tower turned into a Guesthouse. Dinner with delicious traditional food

After consuming breakfast we set off towards the river Drini i Zi for Rafting. The source of the river is in Northern Macedonia and it is the longest river in Albania. Once we get the instructions and equip ourselves with professional rafting tools, we embark on our adventure.
The water is clear and the valley throughout our journey is lined with greenery. We can also swim, jump off the wood bridge. We will have lunch at a restaurant around the river. The specialty is wild trout. Then we’ll visit the city of Peshkopi, and in the evening we’ll arrive at the guesthouse in Radomire.

We wake up in the morning from the fresh air of the mountains, and get ready to hike the highest mountain in Albania – Korab Mountain. The path we will follow crosses through valley of the Korab mountain, where nature is wonderful. After about 5 hours of hiking, we reach the top of Korab 2764 meters above sea level.

The view from the top is fantastic!!! You can see the whole area of Mavrovo in Northern Macedonia, Dibra, Other Mountain peaks, etc. We’ll return to the guesthouse tired but happy because we hiked the highest peak in Albania and North Macedonia!

After breakfast we ’ll drive to Kosovo. We will stop in the town of Prizren. It is the most beautiful city because of the history and the nature. We will visit the old city and the castle on the top of the hill.
Continue the trip in Kosovo and then we cross the border again. Between the mountain, sand and the river we drive towards Valbona. Once we get at the Guesthouse, we will visit a part of the valley and the Valbona waterfall. Enjoying the night at the guesthouse e in the middle of a wonderful nature.

Today we will start from Valbona and we will enter even deeper, in the heart of the
Albanian Alps. The crossing we will make for us Theth, is traversed by an Amazing mountain trail.
To make the passage as easy as possible, we will transport our bags with mules, which will be our companions throughout the walk. Mountains everywhere, wonderful views and extraordinary nature! After about 7 hours we arrive in Theth.

We’ll wake up in Theth, surrounded by giant mountains, to consume bio food breakfast.
We’ll enjoy the nature of the village and visit the church, the IsolationTower, the Grunas Waterfall and also we can swim in the river. This is a day which our body generates between fresh air and delicious food.

After breakfast we will visit Thethi Blue Eye. Just 20 min driving by local transport we arrive to the village of Ndërlysë. There are some natural stone baths that are filled with water from the river. We’ll continue walking for about an hour and then we reach the Blue Eye.
The Blue Eye is a wonderful place! The clean water and the nature that surrounds it, makes that place a unique destination in Albania.
At noon we leave for Tirana. In Tirana we organize the closing dinner of this fantastic tour with food, drinks and music.
